Michael Jordan's 56,000 square foot mansion was called off for auction, according to TMZ. It was initially reported that it will be put for public sale on Nov. 22. An infomercial was even made for everyone who was interested to buy the said property.

"Others requested more time to visit the property and consider the purchase, even though there were already many people interested in buying that have qualified and registered" said the president Laura Brady of the Concierge Auctions, which is company that manages and promotes the auction for weeks. "We agreed to extend the date of the auction to allow them to do so, in the best interest of our clients," she added.

Brady also stated that the attention that they get from people is a lot that they have anticipated.

The mansion measures a total of 7.39 acres. It has great amenities including a tennis court, a cigar room, an indoor basketball complex, a wine cellar, an infinity pool, an amazing home theatre, and so much more.

"The property is impossible to value," said Brady. "It is worth the highest value that people who are interested in buying are willing to pay for it," she added.

"People who desire to purchase the house and make a bid can participate over the phone or in person," said Brady. "They can also get a substitute to bid on their behalf, if they will not be able to make it.

Jordan has lived in the house for 19 years.

"The house is where I lived during my championship years," said Jordan in a press release. "Chicago will always have a piece of my heart," he added. "It is a special place with incredible people," said Jordan.

Jordan still comes to the house once in a while. However, he spends most of his time in his house in Florida.
