The Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger is set to star on a film called "Tabloid," where he acts as a corrupt media mogul.

In a report posted by Time.com, the rock and roll legend will produce and star in a psychological thriller about a greedy media mogul tentatively entitled "Tabloid." In the report, it was said that the vocalist himself crafted the idea and plot of the film, and commissioned writer Josh Olson write the screenplay. Olson is famous for writing "A History of Violence," a David Cronenberg-directed crime thriller starring Viggo Mortensen, William Hurt, and Maria Bello.

In the post, Jagger is said to be highly considering to play "the part of a eyeing [the part of] a global media mogul with dubious morality, and there is a young journalist who gets seduced and sucked into that immoral world." Jagger

This is not the first time Jagger has starred in a film, let alone be used to someone as voracious as the role suggests. The 68-year-old Rolling Stones front man is quite well-versed when it came to movies. In 1995, Jagger founded the appropriately-titled production company, Jagger Films, with Victoria Pearlman. Jagged Films have received various types of production credits for the movies Enigma (2001), and The Women (2005) .
