A recently leaked document detailing information about Xbox 720 has recently surfaced in the Internet which was promptly reported by different news networks around the world. In response to this, Microsoft has confirmed that the details about the Xbox 720 is true which means that its possible release date is truly a go.

Microsoft has confirmed that the leaked document which tells about specific details about Xbox 720 is the real deal. Lawyers representing Microsoft has already ordered websites to take down the 56-page PDF file. Despite this effort, relevant information about the Xbox 720 has already surfaced which means the order of taking down the document may seem pointless. The leaked document was considered as an "IEB Roadmap" wherein IEB means Interactive Entertainment Business, the division in Microsoft responsible for Xbox and other consumer electronics.

The selling price indicated in the document is around US$299 and the possible release date would be on 2013 with a holiday season launch.

It would be interesting to see if Microsoft would stick to the features indicated in the leaked document or if the company would choose to alter some of the specifications in order to "surprise" Xbox 720 customers.
