New musical projects are on the works for American singer-songwriter Mike Patton.

Patton confirmed to triple j that he is interested in working on Nevermen, a new project featuring Tunde Adebimpe from TV On The Radio and Adam Drucker (aka Doseone), once his shows in Europe with Faith No More are done. He referred to Nevermen as a "vocal trio" and said that he targets to finish the project by the end of the year.

He also said that he may possibly work on the new albums on Tomahawk and Fantomas.

"In the back of my mind also I'm trying to chip away at a new Fantomas record and Duane [Denison] the guitar player from Tomahawk has already started writing so there's a lot of things brewing. Whichever one comes first - I don't know. No promises!" he said.

Patton announced that he was currently doing the score for Italian film "The Solitude Of Prime Numbers".

He recently released Mondo Cane, which has 1950s and 1960s Italian pop song covers, and was at the Soundwave Festival in Australia with Fatih No More.
