Mila Kunis Turns Heads at Marine Gala [PHOTOS]
Friends can definitely 'benefit' from Mila Kunis
The 'Black Swan' star kept her promise to Sgt. Scott Moore by attending their Corps Ball last Friday in Greenville, N.C.
Kunis was invited by the brooding marine back in July through YouTube, which she cordially accepted. Stunning might not be adequate to describe her that evening: she's all dolled up in a gorgeous black gown and an even more gorgeous low chignon 'do.
After landing at the airport, the 28-year-old actress was taken directly to the Greenville Convention Center where the Marine Corps' 236th birthday is taking place, local news station WNCT reports.
Marine Sgt. Moore, her lucky date, recently returned after 7 months in his second combat deployment at the Musa Qala and Now Zad districts in Afghanistan.
The soldier didn't reveal much about his Kunis experience, though.
"I always thought I had a chance, and sometimes, that's all you need," Moore gushes to Hollywood Gossip.
Well, that was some homecoming.
Kunis' 'Friends With Benefits' co-star, Justin Timberlake, also stuck true to his word by escorting Cpl. Kelsey de Santis to another Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Richmond, Virginia the previous week. The invite was also done via YouTube.
The singer-actor had such a blast that he took his thoughts regarding the ball to his blog.
"I knew I would have an evening that I wouldn't forget... Something I could tell my friends about," Timberlake shares. "What I didn't know was how moved I would be by the whole experience."
Another celebrity who also looked stunning was former 'Hills' star Kristin Cavallari, as she attended another Marine Corps ball in Temecula, California.
She accompanied Lance Cpl. Jonathan Burkett, who took a different route and asked the pretty actress out on Twitter.
Cavallari was kind enough not to pull an early exit, and even stayed until the place was shut down.
Cpl. Burkett said of his date, "[Kristin] was awesome for sure. She looked very beautiful. Jay Cutler is a lucky guy."
As far as we know, publicity stunt or not, it's good seeing these personalities lift up the spirits of US' noble heroes. Semper Fi, indeed!
