Miley Cyrus All Emotional During First Post-Liam Performance at iHeartRadio Music Festival (PHOTO and VIDEO)
Miley Cyrus broke down while performing her latest emotionally-charged single "Wrecking Ball" in Las Vegas on Saturday. While shooting the video of the hit song, she had to make herself cry. But things were different this Saturday, when she went on the stage and cried her heart out while performing "Wrecking Ball."
It was reported earlier that Cyrus remembered her tiff with Liam Hemsworth to get some tears for the music video for "Wrecking Ball." At the iHeartRadio Music Festival, Las Vegas, Nevada, she performed for the first time since breaking up with Hemsworth, and it was certain that the emotions swelling in her heart would come out. And they did come out as she broke down with tears in eyes while she performed "Wrecking Ball."
Cyrus' playlist at the iHeartRadio Music Festival featured her fun songs and the set progressed just as it does, with Cyrus coming on stage in a racy outfit. She twerked with dwarves and danced like she means it. But things changed as soon as she announced her next song, "Wrecking Ball."
When Cyrus first sang the song, she and Hemsworth had issues but were together. And we know that the song is all about losing the person you love the most, it is about the person walking away from your life. This Saturday, when she sang "Wrecking Ball" in front of her fans, Hemsworth was not by her side, but long gone. It was obvious, and the song made her cry.
As the song neared its end, Cyrus' eyes were wet, her fans cheered her and she dabbed the corner of her eyes and cleaned the running mascara.
She is coping up and coming to terms that Hemsworth has moved on, and they are no longer together. "Miley's putting up a good front and trying to play it off like she doesn't care but she's really f'ed up over this," a source revealed to Hollywoodlife.com.
