Miley Cyrus’ baby sister Noah lands six-digit record deals
Miley Cyrus’ 16-year-old Noah Cyrus is making a name for herself in show business after she recently landed two recording contracts worth US$350,000 (AU$455,000).
A report from TMZ claimed that the younger Cyrus signed a US$100,000 (AU$130,000) deal to write her first studio album and another US$250,000 (AU$325,000) for recording it.
TMZ also claims that if Noah’s first album becomes a chart-topping hit, her recording company will pay her another US$1.5 million (AU$2 million) advance payment for her second album.
Miley and Noah both starred in Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana.” Noah was a background dancer in the 2009 film “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”
Noah also starred in the 2008 films “Ponyo” and “Mostly Ghostly: Who Let the Ghosts Out?”
Aside from Miley, Noah’s siblings include Trace, Brandi Glenn, Braison and Christopher Cody. Their father, Billy Ray Cyrus, is a famous American country singer.
For her part, Miley has been busy filming for “The Voice” as one of the new coaches on NBC’s singing talent contest. She also plays a role on Amazon Prime’s “Crisis in Six Scenes.” “The Voice” season 11 starts airing on Sep. 19 while “Crisis in Six Scenes” will be available for online streaming starting Sep. 30. Miley's fiance and Australian actor Liam Hemsworth posted a throwback photo dating back to their pre-romance days. Miley and Liam met on the set of the 2010 film "The Last Song."
The 23-year-old “Wrecking Ball" hitmaker and the 26-year-old “Hunger Games” actor have been engaged in 2012 but they eventually split in 2013. The couple reconciled and the two were seen spending time together in Australia and California since their reunion in July.
