Miley Cyrus The Big Pretender, Claims to Not Know About One Direction
If liars could really get their pants on fire, Miley Cyrus' pants would have been turned to ashes by now. The "We Can't Stop" singer claims to not have heard of the popular British boy band, One Direction. Cyrus even goes on to add that she "doesn't really remember" any of the boys of 1D.
Former Disney star, Miley Cyrus might be enjoying her revamped image a bit too much that she's transformed into a bit of a liar as well. In her latest interview, Miley claims to not know the individual members of One Direction.
The "We Can't Stop" singer sat down with Heat Magazine and clearly denied she knew the boys of 1D. Given One Direction's members, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne are the most popular band right now; Cyrus claims to not know their songs or any of the boys.
"I mean, don't ask me to name a song because I can't do that, but I know what they look like," stated Cyrus.
"I think I met Harry? I think backstage once ... I don't really remember that much. I just remember my sister was super excited," added the singer.
For the record, Cyrus definitely knows who Harry Styles is as evidenced by her tweets early in January. Cyrus tweeted a photo of her in bed with a Harry Styles cardboard cut-out which was supposedly a birthday gift for her younger sister, Noah Cyrus.
"All I want for my birrffffday is a big booty hoe. All @noahcyrus wants for her BIRFFFDAY is @harry_styles pic.twitter.com/AWzlrlow," tweeted Miley dated January 9, 2013.
Another photographic evidence that Cyrus knows who the boys from 1D are was when she was caught in the studio with Niall Horan.
"Ok so in case you didn't notice . Yes that is Niall. ☺☺☺," tweeted Cyrus dated April 3, 2013.
Still, Miley Cyrus insists she doesn't know anyone from One Direction.
"I don't really know them that much," claimed Miley, adding, "That's like, so bad, but it's like, I listen to urban."
Perhaps, from all the "twerking", Miley Cyrus has forgotten the boys of One Direction. What would "Directioners" have to say about the "We Can't Stop" singer now?
