Miley Cyrus Disses Justin Bieber By Posting Her Own Mugshot
Miley Cyrus releases a crafty mugshot of herself. Instead of being harmless fun, the caption of her mugshot raised speculations that she's dissing Justin Bieber. who got a real DUI mug shot.
On Dec. 29, the "Wrecking Ball" singer posted a fake mugshot of herself on her Instagram account. Even though it was intended to be amusing and harmless, the caption given to the photo can be considered a diss to one of her friends in the industry, Justin Bieber. Hollywood Life reports that the former Disney star disses Justin Bieber with her mugshot on Instagram. On the Instagram photo, Miley was wearing army duds, a fake hawk, and then black paint all over her face. However, what captured the attention of most is her caption, which reads: "I look way less bieberish in my mugshot than expected."
Despite the diss, there has been no reports of the two being at odds with each other. If anything, many said the two young stars have a lot in common, especially in their ability and luck to court media attention and controversy, on both positive and negative things. Singer Cody Simpson shared that it is a pity that his talented friends have to be picked on a lot by the media. The singer shared that Miley and Justin are the two of the nicest people alive. He thinks that people are not treating them fairly. "People just like to hone in on certain people like Bieber...or Miley...all people that I'm really close with," Cody said. Cody also said that Miley is sweet, normal, and cool. When he spent time with her on her ranch in Nashville, the singer claims he could not understand the backlash against his friend, who she called the "coolest chick."
An example of how much Miley is a media-magnet is how people are currently reacting to her method of supporting the "Free the Nipple" campaign. Miley took her childhood photos out and photo-shopped the faces into topless bodies. Miley's action may be considered a novel way of questioning why perceptions of women's body change between child and adulthood, but this does not please many. Some are criticizing her project as child pornography.
