It's that time of the year when we make New Year plans and for all the "Smilers" there is simply no confusion. New York's Times Square is the destination for them as Miley Cyrus will be performing on New Year's Eve right beside the Times Square Ball! Will she swing on it and make it her very own "Wrecking Ball?" Well you have to be present there to find out.

There is no stopping the 21-year-old "We Can't Stop" singer who took to Twitter to confirm she will be performing at the site of the annual ball drop in New York City on New Year's Eve. The twerk queen was originally scheduled to ring in the New Year at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, Florida alongside Pharrell Williams but she changed her plans at the last minute.

The news of Miley being present in New York was released by famous radio host Ryan Seacrest during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

"We just added Miley Cyrus to be in Times Square right before the ball drops," said Seacrest to Kimmel last Wednesday night.

"We try to look for the artist that's created a lot of buzz and had a really big year."

Miley has been added to the line up of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014."

"I'm bummed I won't be in Miami, wanna thank the homies @Fontainebleau 4 their support #turnupforme," informed Cyrus to her Twitter users about the change of plans.

"Smilers! There's been a change in my NYE plans. @RyanSeacrest asked me to perform in Times Square for #RockinEve!!," said Miley in another Tweet.

The evening will kick off at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 on ABC. Seacrest and cohost Jenny McCarthy from Times Square will close the night for the final countdown. Fergie has been tipped to host the West Coast version of the program with Ariana Grande and The Fray.

Looks like Ryan Seacrest made a better offer to Miley to which she accepted. Nevertheless New Yorkers are happy that Miley will be there to ring in the New Year 2014. The year 2013 belonged to Miley Cyrus as she remained in news all throughout the year because of her antics and musical success. We just hope the trend continues for next year for the twerky singer.
