Miley Cyrus has not really made her penchant for smoking marijuana a secret. The pop star has since been seen smoking weed in public through paparazzi photos and even through social media via her Instagram account. Her "love" for the drug has supposedly caused her parents to worry over her behaviour that they've advised her to go to rehab.

According to New Zealand's One News, Miley Cyrus' father, Billy Ray, is worried over his daughter's behaviour toward the drug. He has reportedly advised her to go to rehab, but the pop star refused to listen. Even Miley's godmother, Dolly Parton, is believed to be also worried about the singer's behaviour and have pleaded her to seek help.

The 22-year-old has allegedly been experimenting with other drugs aside from marijuana. She has also confessed to using ecstasy in the past. During a 2013 interview with Rolling Stone, Miley had revealed using cannabis and ecstasy as a means for social relations. Calling them "happy, social drugs," the singer said using them supposedly makes her "want to be with friends."

However, according to a source, her penchant for the unwanted drugs has caused a lot of concern to her family. The source tells The Sun that Miley has admitted she was asked to seek rehab help but she has refused. "Miley said a lot of people have been trying to get her into rehab, but it's not something that she's interested in," the source said

The source's claims allegedly came after a new photo of the singer while in the recording studio surfaced. According to One News, the photo brought the singer in a "drug scandal" as it shows what appears to be a rolled-up bank note used for sniffing drugs, a pile or marijuana and a vial of white powder. The image was believed to have been taken back in November 26 in Los Angeles, while Miley was working on a new song in her laptop during the early hours of the morning at 4 a.m. As per The New Zealand Herald, an eyewitness snapped the photo, which had landed in the papers of The Sun magazine.

According to NZHerald, Miley Cyrus has since responded to the photo through her Instagram account. She has also shared her own posts where she's seen working on her music at home and in the studio. One photo shared on the site shows the singer puffing drug from a rolled-up paper. Mail Online has reportedly reached out to the singer's rep for comments on the singer's recent drug scandal.
