Miley Cyrus' EMA Speech Stopped AfterSmoking a Joint Onstage?
This year's EMAs were held this week, and many celebrities made their way onto the red carpet. A few were able to wow the crowd on the red carpet with their elegant ensembles, while the others may have raised a few eyebrows.
What were the highlights of the evening? You guessed it right, the "Wrecking Ball" singer Miley Cyrus. The singer didn't fail to impress many with her choice of outfit at the EMAs. Her outfit was a bit toned down, and though it was body hugging, she did look quite right for the occasion.
So, what did the singer do that was rather controversial? She did make an acceptance speech that wasn't televised. Viewers at home would notice that the camera zoomed out of Cyrus and zoomed back in once she was thanking her fans. Cyrus came out wearing a rather racy white body fitting outfit that left a little to the imagination. She was also carrying a purse and it was said that the singer lit what looked like a 'joint' while making her speech.
Photos of the celeb show that she did indeed lit a joint on stage that evening, which was why Cyrus' speech was not televised. The presenters may have been onto what Cyrus was about to do and they made sure that they did not televise, 'promote' her 'joint session' while accepting her award. It seems like the 20-year-old "We Can't Stop" singer is having fun in her life, but it just doesn't add up to her trying to promote 'having a good time' by smoking a 'joint'.
