What happens when you go for shopping, shop your heart out but things take a different turn when it's time to pay your bill. Your credit card gets declined! The world doesn't come to and end here but for a celebrity it counts as the most controversial incident. Something similar happened to our very own Miley Cyrus when she went shopping at Sherman Oaks, California on Tuesday.

All that Miley wanted to purchase was some music CD's worth US$170 and she was embarrassed to bits when the cashier told her that her credit card was declined by Freakbeat Records. According to eyewitnesses Cyrus was dressed skimpily in shorts and a tight leather jacket. What counts as more embarrassing was that no one in the store recognised the 21-year-old "Wrecking Ball" girl. Was this because she was fully clothed?

"No one in the store really recognised Miley, even though she was hard to miss. It's not her demographic of fans. But she was embarrassed nonetheless when her card was denied," said an eyewitness to RadarOnline.com.

The cashier at the counter told "We Can't Stop" singer that the situation might have arisen because of her large purchases! Credit card companies usually keep a check on their customers when they are making huge purchases. In this case, the card company seems to have forgotten that it is Miley Cyrus, who has an estimated wealth of over US$100 million!

Looks like Miley must have maxed out her card buying limit by shopping for cat themed corsets, skimpy latex bikinis, shorts, and hopefully some weed! Or maybe she spent too much on buying her now famous foam middle fingers which exhausted her credit card limit! The singer is also a Coco Chanel fan and loves their dresses and even has her bed cover from that brand.

Nevertheless, the singer took out another credit card from her bag and went ahead unhindered. She even shared the picture of her shopping trip by posting a picture of the vinyl record she purchased of the soundtrack to 1978 film "The Wiz," which had King of Pop Michael Jackson.

"So stoked #thewiz (sic)," Miley captioned the picture.
