Miley Cyrus Gives Up, Takes a Break from Social Media
It seems people would never tire of the news that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's engagement had been called off, as series of magazine reports again claimed that she and fiancé Liam are having serious problems, including Us Weekly's contention that their "wedding is off."
A source told US Weekly that Liam was having major second thoughts about their wedding because of Miley's busy work schedule.
"Miley put her career on hold to spend all her time with Liam. Now that she is back recording her fourth album, he's not happy," the source said. It even added that "work has put a stress on their relationship."
Rumors of the engaged couple calling it quits started when the couple went individually to parties-not to mention Liam being spotted in a car in LA with Mad Men star January Jones--and was heightened even more when the pop star dyed her hair "platinum blue." Hollywood stars were known to make drastic changes to their locks after undergoing a breakup, and sure enough, that's what everybody thought when the 20-year-old singer was spotted leaving her car with a new colored do.
Meanwhile, we all know Miley was never one to back away when addressing rumors about her beau, but the Last Song actress seemed to have had enough when she said in a tweet that she's "taking a break" from social media.
"I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding," she wrote and then later added, "Taking a break from social media. #draining."
A source even confirmed the speculation of their breakup to be untrue, saying that the two are totally together.
Poor Miley, we hope that with this passionate denial, everyone would get it, as the rebuff has now come straight from the star.
