In one of those strange churnings that happen in Miley Cyrus's life, the alleged break-up with fiancé Liam Hemsworth has stirred up another Twitter controversy. What seems like the final nail in the coffin, the 'Wrecking Ball' singer has recently unfollowed the 'Hunger Games' star on Twitter.

According to US Weekly, Miley Cyrus has decided to officially call off the relationship following Liam Hemsworth's dating rumors with 'Mad Men' actress January Jones.

Liam who has been allegedly cheating on Miley, was humiliated by his fiance's outrageous VMA performance. Termed as a sexually laced performance by media mongers, Cyrus stripped and twerked with singer Robin Thicke for the audience. Quite recently Miley even got naked for the video of her new single 'Wrecking Ball'. Has Miley's shameless public behavior, made the Australian star go astray?

Though Liam has been denying the rumors of dating January Jones, his cozying up with the actress at the pre-oscar party in Febrarury, has a different story to tell. A source close to Liam has told Tvnz.co.nz that Liam is fed up with Miley's behavior and wants to end the things with the singer amicably. The source further added that, "They're just weeks away from calling it off permanently. Liam feels very distant emotionally from Miley these days."

Liam and Miley got close in 2010 while shooting for the movie 'The Last Song'. They dated for two years before getting engaged last year, however, they kept on postponing their wedding plans for one or the other reasons. Also the couples haven't been spotted together since the premiere of Liam's movie Paranoia in August. Aren't these the clear indications that the couple is over?
