It was close to a year that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth broke up, but the chemistry between the two has not died down completely. The ex-couple was reported that they met at Miley's residence in August and shared some good times together, new media suggest.

Ever since Miley broke up with "The Hunger Games" actor, she was texting and calling him quite often to meet up, In Touch magazine revealed. Miley even confessed in a recent interview that she still loves Liam and he too loves her the same way. However, the chances of the couple getting together are slim as Liam believes that they need to find something common in them that is currently missing, the magazine said.

"He told Miley that they need to find some common ground before he can ever take her back," revealed an insider to In Touch. Liam is also not very happy about the new image that Miley has, where she is projecting herself as a rebellious wild rock star who is into raunchy dance moves and topless photo shoots, says the source.

"Liam's a traditional guy who wants a wife and family someday. He needs Miley to prove that she's marriage material before he can open his heart again," revealed the source to the magazine.

It is not sure if Miley and Liam's reported meeting was a one time affair or the couple plans to have such meetings in future too. According to E! News, the once-engaged couple do not have any plans to reconcile in the near future but want to stay as friends.

"The Last Song" co-stars have always stayed in touch with each other and were meeting on and off in Los Angeles regularly as they "still care about each other." Liam also called up Miley when she was admitted to the hospital earlier this year.

Miley and Liam ended their engagement in September 2013, but ever since then Miley was very open about her feelings for Liam. She was seen crying when she gave a live performance of her song "Wrecking Ball" and revealed to media in an interview that sometimes one has to let go off their loved ones to find themselves.
