Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth try carpool karaoke singing Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’
Miley Cyrus posted a sweet video on Instagram on Monday featuring herself and fiancé Liam Hemsworth singing to Justin Bieber’s song “Love Yourself.” The 23-year-old “Wrecking Ball” artist also showed her adorable beagle named Barbie in the video, while she and the “Hunger Games” actor sing their hearts out.
In the short clip, Cyrus sits in the passenger seat holding her dog Barbie who is looking out the window. While it's no secret that Cyrus can sing, it came as a surprise that Hemsworth has some hidden talent in singing. The “Independence Day: Resurgence” star can be heard singing a few lines from “Love Yourself,” proving he’s got some decent pipes.
At one point, he even appears to scare Cyrus that they were about to hit something on the road.
“Babe, stop!” Cyrus screamed. “Seriously!”
This isn’t the first time Cyrus and Hemsworth were seen making some music together in a car. In 2010, when the couple met on the set of Nicholas Spark’s hit movie adaptation of “The Last Song,” Cyrus and Hemsworth shared a cute carpool karaoke moment. They sang Maroon 5’s “She Will Be Loved,” and in the movie, Hemsworth’s character was tragically tone-deaf.
Six years later, fans can now confirm that it was only an act and Hemsworth can really hit those notes if he really wanted to.
Cyrus and Hemsworth called off their engagement back in September 2013 and got back together in January 2016. Cyrus was spotted wearing her Neil Lane engagement ring again in March and just recently, the pop star is spotted wearing a rumoured wedding band.
In an interview with GQ Australia, Hemsworth spoke about their break-up and rekindled romance.
“We were both going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen,” the 26-year-old stated. “We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time — we both needed that.”
Now, with maturity and time the couple seems to be enjoying each other so much more than they did.
