Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Update: Singer 'still close' to 'The Hunger Games' star and they 'love each other'
Miley Cyrus and her ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth still “love each other,” the actress said in an interview. The “Wrecking Ball” songstress rubbished the media claims that she and “The Hunger Games” actor have moved on with their lives after their break-up.
Cyrus told Elle magazine (via Mirror) that she is frustrated by the constant talks surrounding her love life. “Me and Liam are still so close and we love each other and they [media] make it like there is negativity,” Cyrus told Elle, while discussing her love life.
She even ridiculed the media about spreading false news about her and Hemsworth. “...Then you break up and it's everywhere. And it's like, 'They've moved on' but actually often it's all good.”
Cyrus and Hemsworth dated each other from 2009 to 2013 and were also engaged to get married soon. But they ended their relationship without giving any reasons officially.
Cyrus did not date anyone for quite sometime until last year when she started hanging out with model Patrick Schwarzenegger. However, her relationship with Arnold Schwarzenegger's son also ended this year after he was spotted getting cozy with his ex-girlfriend during his summer break.
The singer was also spotted making out with model Stella Maxwell sometime back but Cyrus did not elaborate on the nature of their relationship. "Stella's awesome but as soon as you hang out with someone, everyone thinks you're in a relationship. And I’m like, you can't just assume that everyone I'm sitting at dinner with is a date," she said.
The singer recently admitted that she is open to having relationship with both men and women and believes in gender fluidity. "I don't relate to being boy or girl, and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl," she told Paper magazine.
