Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are splitting for now and setting aside their wedding plans as they decided to give each other a break. The pair who had on-and-off again relationship over the past few years have decided to call it quits after Miley unfollowed Liam on Twitter.

"She unfollowed him to send him a message that she's serious about being done this time," a source close to the singer said. "They've had fights before but they've always kept it a secret so it's been easy to go back and forth. Making it public takes it to a whole new level."

The couple's break-up news marks the end of a tumultuous relationship of the two, who expereince more break-ups than bonding moments since they got engaged in May 2012.

Thanks to Miley's twerking performance at the VMA and her "Wrecking Ball" video; and Liam's multiple cheating allegations; and the couple's contant figting, the relationship is more than the young couple can handle.

"They've split for now," a source tells Radar Online. "Miley and Liam have a very tumultuous relationship and are both exhausted. It's a complicated relationship. The wedding is on hold, for now. It's not cancelled but it doesn't look promising.'

When asked about her wedding plans during an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine, Miley revealed, 'I definitely don't have time to deal with a wedding right now. But I will at some point.'

The 20 year-old twerking queen is currently enjoying her state of immaturity and added, 'I was an adult when I was supposed to be a kid. So now I'm an adult and I'm acting like a kid.'

The split-up was no surprise with Miley's extremely busy careers and Liam's filming schedules, the couple's have been under a tremendous amount of strife. The new woman in Miley is definitley not the girl that Liam fell inlove with, the reason why the two need to reevaluate their feelings, and yes, that includes the wedding.

This latest break-up could be their last. Now the couple is living separate lives, Miley is busy plugging her new album "Bangerz" while Liam is preparing to promote his latest movie "Catching Fire."
