Even Miley Cyrus' recent engagement to beau Liam Hemsworth doesn't stand in the way of her goal to make "very adult" and "sexy" music for other people.

To whom? Everyone, of course!

E! News reports that a source confirmed the former Disney star to be hard at work at the recording studio for her next album, which is going to be "believable". The LP is expected to be released "one hundred percent" earlier before her wedding.

The insider adds that Cyrus was "having fun" recording songs for "the first time in her career", a startling revelation since the soundtracks and albums released during her Hannah Montana era sold like hotcakes worldwide.

As to the musical direction Cyrus is currently taking, her involvement with award-winning producers such as Pharrell Williams (Justin Timberlake, T.I., Lupe Fiasco) in Miami and Hit-Boy (Kanye West, Jay-Z, Eminem) at L.A are hinting signs of an RnB-tinged sound. However, the singer also signed up recently with renowned music manager Bruce Flohr (Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters), so no one really knows for sure what genre Miley would be stepping into this time.

Flohr's agency Red Light Management is currently aiding Cyrus find her new sound in various studio sessions which the source dubs as "Miley 2.0". As a teaser for this new persona, the teen superstar recently tweeted a photo with her band, in what appears to be a set of a music video.

Miley shares, "such a glorious days making sweet tunes. couldnt think of people id rather this beautiful sunset with. [sic]"

Honestly, new material from Cyrus has been long overdue, especially that it was promised to have come out earlier last year. Her last full-length effort, "Can't Be Tamed" was released in 2010 to the dismay of music critics, commenting that her music was "hard to take seriously". Fans were also surprised on the sudden "maturity" conveyed for the album's overall packaging.

Of course, one could only wish for a better path for Cyrus' music career, now that soon-to-be Mrs. Hemsworth seems to be on good hands. For the meantime, fans would have to be satisfied with Miley's recently-released acoustic cover of Bob Dylan's "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go".
