Miley Cyrus: Releases MTV Documentary, Miley: The Movement (Watch The Trailer)
"There is an army and we are all part of the movement," that's according to Miley Cyrus on her latest MTV documentary, "Miley: The Movement." Set to premiere on October 2 at 10PM and 9PM Central, the documentary follows the 20-year old singer/actress into the recording studio, out onto the road and anywhere in-between.
Miley is now in a full blast, after her infamous performance at the VMA she followed it up by topping the Billboard charts with her hot single "Wrecking Ball" and then she landed the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Next month she will be releasing her MTV documentary and her fourth studio album "Bangerz."
"Miley: The Movement" offers a behind the scene peek of Miley's life on the road and her quest of redefining her careers on her terms, from shocking the world with her provocative performance as she continues her journey in completing her latest album.
"I was born to become who I am right now. ... I'm at a point in my career where I can be exactly what I want to be, who I want to be," she reveals in the new trailer of her upcoming MTV documentary.
The brave and bold Miley is not going let the naysayers stand in her way of expressing herself creatively. "I have this freedom to do whatever I want, because I'm starting as a new artist now," she says. "Every time I do anything, I want to remember: This is what separates me from everybody else."
Based on the MTV's trailer, the documentary covers everything from Miley cuddling up with her mother Tish, Miley jokes around with record producer Mike Will Made It and some scenes where she was chatting with Britney Spears (who appears on the Bangerz track "SMS").
The trailer also features how she jokingly plans out her VMA performance by saying, "I just want to go out and shoot a hot dog gun."
She also addresses the media frenzy following her VMA performance and she was very clear that she will continue to push the boundaries, or create a little bit of controversy.
"You're always going to make people talk," she says. "You might as well make them talk for two weeks, rather than two seconds."
7 more days to go and the wait will be over, so watch out for Miley's MTV documentary.
