Now it looks as if she's in for another cry for attention with rumors about her self-mutilation. Miley was seen rushed to the hospital Monday night nursing a bleeding hand. What really went down?
In a recent post by Hollywood Life, Miley Cyrus was photographed walking her dog and unusual marks were seen on her wrist. According to psychologists, these marks are signs of self-mutilation. On Monday evening, Miley was seen cupping a bleeding hand. Could this mean the star is beginning to dwell on her troubled mind?
Before anyone goes into a fan-frenzy, the rumors of Miley's self-destructive behavior were proven false. The "LOL" actress was rushed to the hospital Monday night due to an accident at home. In separate reports of TMZ and E! Online, the culprit was a kitchen knife and a blender respectively. Whatever the item that had caused Miley's badly cut-up hand, simply put, it was an accident.
Along with her to her unplanned trip to the emergency room was boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, and her grandmother. A representative for Cyrus said that the 19-year old "had to get a few stitches" but all in all, "she's doing fine."
The actress took to Twitter immediately after the incident putting all her fans worst fears to rest.
"I'm all stitched up & have on a splint so I'm good," tweeted Miley. "As you can tell by my expression, didn't feel so good. Curse u blender!"
Apparently, Miley was preparing a vegan gluten-free meal at her home in Toluca Lake, San Fernando Valley when the slip-up happened. In her other tweet, the 19-year old actress was ticked off that the paparazzi were able to follow her from her home to the hospital.
"As you can tell by the horrible faces I'm making I obviously didn't know they were there. Pretty messed up following me to ER," tweeted Miley.
