Miley Cyrus is finally bored of her trademark sticky-out-tongue pose and plans to retire her tongue from public scrutiny away for good. Famed from her twerking pose, Miley made an announcement to put the rock 'n' roll pose behind her and is planning to come up with a new look.

''It's the new Miley tongue. I think people always take pictures of themselves and me doing it is just being myself so it's kind of like my style now ... [But] that's getting a little old. I'm going to have to retire it!, " says Miley on a French TV show 'Le Grand Journal'.

She even revealed during the interview that she can't touch her nose with it, no matter how many times she tried. She explained, ''For as long as it is, you would think that I could touch my nose. I mean I've tried it, I can't, I'm so close. I wish I had more control of it, I can't do any tricks, no four leaf clover, nothing!''

But the "Wrecking Ball" singer doesn't have to worry because the world saw more than enough tongue action and twerking from her performance with Robin Thicke.

When asked about her controversial MTV Video Music Awards performance last month, Miley laughed and says, ''I just think if you make the choice to do something in front of the world, there's no going back and apologizing now.

''I already did it, there's no going backwards. I do everything I do for a reason. My mum is very proud of me!''

She confessed that she deliberately sexed up her image to attract the world's attention and make an impact. Based on what's going on right now with her new single "Wrecking Ball", Miley is breaking records and absolutely making her presence known.

She said: ''I wanted to make history which I think we did over the last two weeks ... I think all that matters is having good intentions. [The VMAs video] did do well online, everyone in the world is thinking what am I going to do next.

''All are on me and I'll do what I wanna do so people remember me. It's bittersweet.''
