On the eve of Valentine's Day, singer Miley Cyrus has called on to critics to "spread love not lies" and to let her live her life with Australian hunk actor, Liam Hemsworth.

The call came following reports that she had cheated on Liam Thursday night. "The Last Song" star fired back at blogger Perez Hilton for claiming that she was spotted hanging out late Thursday night with "Gossip Girl" actor, Ed Westwick.

"The two were spotted hanging out late Thursday night, as Ed made his way into the car where a bashful Miley was waiting," Perez said, according to adelaidenow.com.au. "But not before the shutterbugs captured a few glistening moments of the shocking twosome."

Belying claims made by Hilton, Cyrus took to Twitter and gave her take on the "cheat claims."

"Hope you find love one day but can you not f**k with mine," Cyrus began. "I've never been [with] Ed W in my life. I was at the studio last night working on my record and never left with anyone other than my assistant."

As if providing details of her whereabouts on the night in question, the "Best of Both Worlds" hit singer continued.

She said, "What happened to your big enlightenment... what happened to your promise to spread love not lies. And to be a decent human being with values and morals???"

Liam's girlfriend also maintained "to live and let live."

She said, "Dude you ask for people to respect you and your relationships I demand the same thing," Cyrus insisted.

The actress emphasized that Perez is "the first one to write about my engagement and my wedding and how happy u r for me and the first to try to tear my life."

Now that the story has been straigthened, let's just hope that Miley can enjoy V-Day with boyfriend, Liam and prove everyone, everyone especially Hilton, wrong and show that the love between her and Liam is going strong.
