Singer Miley Cyrus has a new feather in her cap. The "We Can't Stop" singer has now made her foray into jewellery designing and debuted her first collection at the recently held New York Fashion Week. The 21-year-old singer came dressed in a funky, colourful trousers and bra top and wore her own designs made of kids alphabets beads, toys, trinkets and lots of other colourful stuff.

The "Wrecking Ball" songstress debuted her jewellery collection at designer Jeremy Scott's show Wednesday in a downtown Manhattan gallery space. Scott revealed to media that Miley made all the jewellery herself and is very passionate about her collection. Scott and Cyrus stay in the same locality and Miley once showed him her designs and he was impressed by her talent. Scott then told Miley to showcase her designs at the fashion show. But Miley was shocked by the offer at first thinking Scott might be joking.

"[T]he next day I sent her a text and said I was dead serious about the jewelry for the show, if you're into it. And she was like, 'I thought you were joking, I'm so happy!' And then she's calling me and saying, 'OK, we have to start planning.' And she just got into and she did it. She made everything herself," revealed Scott, according to Kansas City Star.

The "Bangerz" beauty also walked the ramp with Scott. Check out their picture here. Miley looked very colourful in her attire and tied her hair up in a small ponytail. The pop star put a bunch of multi-coloured hair accessories to highlight her look. The hair accessories consisted of a small pinkish purple bow, a butterfly clip and a small hat made from lots of colourful stuff. Check out her picture here.

Miley's funky jewellery collection resembles Scott's own ideas and collection. The designer calls her collection as "stream-of-consciousness." Miley has been using the hashtag #dirtyhippe on her Instagram profile to showcase her designs. It is not sure at this time if Miley has launched them formally or if her designs will be available on shelves anytime in future.
