Miley Cyrus Unveils Dirty Hippie Art Sculpture Exhibition Of Blunts And Bongs
Miley Cyrus recently unveiled her sculpture exhibition. While her "Smilers" have been nothing but supportive of Miley's artistic ventures, critics have been nothing but harsh on "Dirty Hippie." The exhibition had been part of Jeremy Scott's fashion show that had tongue's wagging the whole night.
Leave it to Miley to create an impressively colourful world of her own. Aside from showing off her artistic side as a singer and actress, the former Disney princess showed off her skills in creating one of a kind sculptures.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Miley's sculptures abounded on phallic symbols. Her exhibition named "Dirty Hippie" included a number of beads, bongs and blunts. The sculptures have been open to the public since September 11 at the V Galleries in Mercer Street and will be open until the 19th of September.
Some of the sculptures present at the gallery were also featured in Jeremy Scott's fashion show also of the same name, "Dirty Hippie." Scott's fashion show was for the Spring and Summer collection. Of course, Miley Cyrus in all her bright and happy colours certainly spells out summer.
As for the sculptures created by Miley, these were done as a form of psychological release. While being hospitalized, Miley kept herself busy by making stuff out of the things her fans had given her through the years.
"I hated 2014 because everything that could go wrong kept going wrong. Being in the hospital, my dog dying... So then I started taking all of those sh*t things and making them good, and being like, 'I'm using it,'" stated the songstress to V Magazine.
"They say money can't buy happiness and it's totally true. Money can buy you a bunch of sh*t to glue to a bunch of other sh*t that will make you happy, but...obviously the sh*t you buy doesn't make you happier because I'm sitting here gluing a bunch of junk to stuff," continued the singer.
Fans of Cyrus should definitely not miss out on the opportunity of taking selfies with her one-of-a-kind creations. Head out to the V Galleries at 11 Mercer Street now and get a load of "Dirty Hippie."
