If the MTV Video Music Awards belonged to Miley Cyrus, the MTV European Music Awards on Sunday in Amsterdam were much Miley too. No, she did not twerk with Robin Thicke here but did much more than that.

She came, she performed and she conquered. The 20-year-old singer arrived at the MTV EMA on Sunday night wearing a very revealing and tight dress with thigh high boots.

Cyrus opened the show with a stupendous performance of her hit song "We Can't Stop" wearing a space themed spandex suit and also twerked her way to the stage with a female dwarf. The audience went crazy seeing their favourite singer performing live. To the delight of the crowd in Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, Miley concluded her performance by her signature pose - sticking out her tongue out!

The singer won the Best Music Video award for her video of her latest single "Wrecking Ball." The Terry Richardson video shows a naked Miley Cyrus writhing and swinging on a huge iron wrecking ball as she licks the iron hammer. The singer celebrated her award win by demonstratively lighting up a cigarette ...yes! That too on stage! It appeared to be weed/marijuana which she smoked by quickly taking a puff as her fans looked on!

The singer was quite open to her love for marijuana as she performed live on "Wrecking Ball" single onstage. Miley wore marijuana leaf emblems in her earphones against the backdrop of a giant video which showed her crying in the music video.

Before leaving for Amsterdam, Miley posted a photograph of herself in the shower. "I got that shower time showerrrrrr time selfiiiie. (A la lana del ray) #happyemas," the singer tweeted on Sunday evening.

Miley has been quite happy about her MTV EMA performance and is asking her fans on Twitter to watch what she did during the show. "Go online and watch what really went down at the EMAs!," she Tweeted Monday morning.

The singer who is trying hard to shed her "Hannah Montana" image has succeed completely in doing so in past few months and has come out as a rebellious and wild child who cares a damn about what the world is thinking about her but does everything to stay in news. Watch her performance below.
