Miley Cyrus overtakes One Direction after she released her "Wrecking Ball" video and breaks record with a whooping 12.3 million viewers in just 24 hours on Vevo . One Direction's "Best Song Ever" received 10.9 million views in its first day when it was released back in July.

The "We Can't Stop" singer has been battling head to head with One Direction over the last few months, with Miley almost took the record as she scored 10.7 million views on her first single. Shortly after she claimed the record on Tuesday, Miley tweeted her fans and the amount of people logging on to watch Miley's nude video increased even more.

She then picks a sledgehammer and systematically destroys the walls and then ride the swinging wrecking ball with nothing but her birthday suit. There is nothing of a metaphor in this video but only focuses on heavy fashion, although some of the parts is very emotional.

"Wrecking Ball" is a follow-up single for her upcoming album and this song is definitely not a love song. The 20 year-old Queen of Twerk is due to release her album "Bangerz" on October 8, 2013 and she just officially unveiled the track list of her upcoming album where she collaborated with Britney Spears, Big Sean and Nelly.

She will be co-hosting 'Saturday Night Live' on Ocotber 5, 2013, an event Miley's fan need to watch out for.
