Mimi Faust has released a new hardcore sex tape with her boyfriend Nikko Smith. The sex tape, which was released on April 14, went viral on the web leaving Faust fans shocked. Since the release of the tape, hashtag #mimishowerrodstrongerthan has started trending on Twitter and people have shared some funny and appalling reactions taking a dig at Faust's shower scene from the tape. Mimi Faust and her "American Idol" finalist boyfriend Nikko Smith's video tape is called "Mimi & Nikko: Scandal in Atlanta". Owing to its risqué factor, vivid entertainment has offered the girl-boyfriend duo a buying proposition for their video.

"From the minute we heard about this tape, we wanted it," Steve said in a press release. "The authenticity of Mimi and Nikko's relationship is obvious. There's no mistaking their passion; it's real."

Sex tapes have become the oldest trick in the world to gain publicity and this may not do that good to Faust's career.

However, the "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" producers are in support of the tape and there are chances that in Season 3 of the VH1 show, which airs on May 5, Mimi could be seen discussing the tape with the cast mates.
