Mimi Faust's Sex Tape: Nikko Smith Denies Being the Co-Star
With the release of "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" actress Mimi Faust's sex tape, fans all over the world have been sending in their mix reactions. Of course, the other star of the tape, a guy named Nikko Smith has also turned into an overnight celebrity. However, according to a report by Hollywood Life, there might be just more than one Nikko Smiths in the industry.
Upon hearing the name Nikko Smith, many fans would think it would be none other than the finalist in "American Idol." The singer wants the public to know, however, that it is not him that is featured in the racy sex tape of Mimi Faust.
The porn company Vivid released a press release on April 14 about the sex tape of the two public figures titled "Mimi & Nikko: Scandal in Atlanta." Upon the official release of the video, the tape garnered thousands of viewers. The "America Idol" contestant who placed ninth in the fourth season of the show has been receiving much flak on Twitter after the release of the tape. Many fans have been talking non-stop about the sex tape and have been persistently insisting that it was Nikko Smith in the video.
The contestant of "American Idol," however, whose real name is Osborne Earl Smith, told in an interview to TMZ that he has never dated (or met) the "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Mimi Faust. On one hand, Nikko Smith is not complaining about the comparison because the real star in question is rather well-endowed, the Idol Nikko Smith revealed to TMZ.
"There could be worse things linked to my name. At least the guy didn't murder someone," the "American Idol" contestant further mentioned to the entertainment outlet. At least the singer was pretty sport about the incident.
Meanwhile, founder of the porn video company Vivid, Steve Hirsch is raking up thousands of dollars over the sex tape. "From the minute we heard about this tape, we wanted it," the founder said during the press release. "The authenticity of Mimi and Nikko's relationship is obvious. There's no mistaking their passion; it's real."
