Mindy Kaling Shows Off Weight Loss In Plunging Black Dress In New Photos
Mindy Kaling shared new stunning images of her figure this week.
In snaps shared to Instagram Thursday, the "Mindy Project" star flaunted her slimmed-down physique in a low-cut black dress with spaghetti straps and a flower on one side as she posed in her impressive walk-in closet that was stuffed with Chanel and Hermes purses. The little black dress by Magda Butrym complimented the mother-of-two's slim waist and curves.
Kaling paired her outfit with a pair of black Jimmy Choo pumps and styled her long hair in a wet-and-wavy look.
The actress' stunning look for an Oscars party was styled by Hayley Atkin. Her hair was styled by Marc Mena, while her makeup was executed by Eva Kim, Page Six reported.
Kaling's followers and celebrity pals gushed over her photos.
"This is killer, sweetie," Jessica Mulroney commented. "Stunning," Lauren Sanchez wrote.
"Obsessed with the dress," Elle editor-in-chief and "Project Runway" judge Nina Garcia wrote.
"Orange Is the New Black" actress Uzo Aduba wrote, "Smoking' hot. Not hot, @mindykaling. SMOKIN'. HOT," while Alex Perry and Janice Kinjo called Kaling "gorgeous" in the comments section.
"Excuse me?!! Dang!" Kaling's "The Office" co-star Angela Kinsey commented with fire emojis.
Kaling, Priyanka Chopra, Kumail Nanjiani, Riz Ahmed and more stars celebrated South Asian excellence ahead of this year's Oscars telecast with a Wednesday night party at UTA. They acknowledged their cultural contributions to the industry while recognizing South Asian nominees.
The nominees for this year's ceremony included Ahmed ("Flee, The Long Goodbye"), Joseph Patel ("Summer of Soul"), Suroosh Alvi ("Flee"), Pawo Choyning Dorji ("Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom"), Aneil Karia ("The Long Goodbye"), Elizabeth Mirzaei and Gulistan Mirzaei ("Three Songs for Benazir"), Rintu Thomas, Sushmit Ghosh and Anurima Bhargava ("Writing with Fire").
Many of them were present at the star-studded affair alongside attendees Aziz Ansari, Lilly Singh and Kal Penn, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Chopra told THR that she was "a little bit emotional" seeing everyone in the room.
"To come together as a community to recognize each other and to be able to make noise around our own communities is long overdue. I'm glad we're doing it now and hope we keep doing it," she added.
