The past two seasons have shown Mindy proving herself and trying to find her feet in the male dominated world. Nash's entry is definitely going to spice up things at Shulman & Associates.

Meanwhile, the promo of season 3 is out and in a hilarious opening scene, Mindy is seen trying to dominate Danny in the bed. It is being speculated that there would be a lot of sweet fightings between Mindy and Danny in the new season.

Season 2 saw Danny and Mindy finally confessing their love for each other. However, Danny latter backed out as he thought he cannot commit to a relationship and would lose Mindy as a friend if they remain a couple. In Season 3 the two would be giving a second chance to their relationship.

"The Mindy Project" is the brainchild of Mindy Kalling. Speaking about about the show, Kalling has said that they try that every season creates a new journey for the characters.

"We try every season for there to be certain scenes and journeys for each of the characters to go on, certainly the leads. But it's harder because, unlike a cable show, we have 22 or 24 episodes a year so we can't do that wonderful thing I'll see on some of my favorite cable shows where they'll have 12 episodes to do a full arc that in the course of two and a half months is done," Kalling said to Deadline.
