A “Friends” reunion might seem impossible at the moment, but it will do for now. Fans of the U.S. ‘90s sitcom can settle for a mini reunion with just three of its original cast members as TV host Ellen DeGeneres had Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, and Courteney Cox get together for a special video.

In the promo for the episode of Ellen’s eponymous talk show, Jennifer heads to Matthew’s house to ask him for advice and a few “dumb jokes” as she prepares to co-host “Ellen.” However, Matthew is less than thrilled to see his former co-star at 8 in the morning.

“Some advice? Well, maybe you shouldn’t show up at someone’s house at 8 o’ clock in the morning,” Matthew replies unhelpfully to Jen’s request.

“What are you talking about? We used to walk into each other’s apartments all the time. We are friends,” she counters.

Matthew then tells her that she’s referring to their now defunct show.

“Now, David, that is not true,” she calls Matthew by their other co-star David Schwimmer’s name.

After some cajoling by Jen, which Matthew doesn’t succumb to, Courteney suddenly comes out of his house.

“Lisa?!” Courteney screams, referring to Lisa Kudrow, who plays Phoebe in “Friends.”

Disgusted, Courteney walks out, telling Matthew, “I’m never sleeping with you again.”

Ellen and wife Portia de Rossi also join in the clip, coming out of Matthew’s house discreetly.

After Matthew is finally able to convince Jen to go away, he then calls “LeBlanc” to get out of the fountain, clearly referring to Matt LeBlanc, another “Friends” star.

The U.S. talk show “Ellen” airs on Nine channel.
