Miranda Kerr: Breastfeeding Helps Me Get into Shape for Victoria’s Secret Show [PHOTOS]
Victoria's Secret's top model Miranda Kerr says breastfeeding helped her a lot on getting back to shape in time for the label's much-awaited fashion show.
Kerr is already gifted with a curvy figure but she boasted her much fuller bosom. She said that she is still breastfeeding her son and is pleased with the effects on her body.
"It's milking time. I'm still breast feeding. I'm pumping, and it's going well." joked the model to the New York Times.
One of the known benefits of breastfeeding is it is said to burn around 500 calories per day which can equate to an hour running on the treadmill. Kerr said that she is very much prepared for the event.
"I've waxed, shaved, done laser. I'm prepped at this point," the model added.
The Australian model and new mother to Orlando Bloom's son Flynn will be the highlight of the show and she will be wearing the controversial $2.5 million 142-carat bra.
While Kerr effortlessly loses weight before the annual show, another Victoria's Secret model, Adriana Lima, works out twice daily and drinks protein shakes just in preparation for the annual lingerie fashion show.
The theme of this year's fashion show is Venus-on-the-half-shell theme, and Kerr will walk the show wearing not wings, but a big clamshell contraption made of silver gauze. Catch your favorite VS angels Doutzen Kroes, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge and Lindsay Ellingson will all walk the infamous pink carpet. Staging is scheduled for Wednesday and will air exclusively on CBS on Nov. 29.
