Miranda Kerr, ambassador and face of Qantas and David Jones, acts as bridge of the two companies to develop a partnership.

Like many Australians, supermodel Miranda Kerr also loves shopping and travelling. The model largely helped in forging a business relationship between the two.

Shoppers of David Jones can now earn flyer points, which they can use in Qantas. Shoppers will be able to earn the Qantas Frequent Flyer points on the David Jones American Express Card from tomorrow.

Card members will also be able to convert their reward points to points in the American Express Membership Rewards Program or the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. David Jones Gift Cards will also be available through the online Qantas Frequent Flyer store.

"I'm a frequent flyer and always flying Qantas when I come home so it's wonderful that I can reap the rewards,'' she said.

Miranda Kerr also helped in the launching of launch a David Jones Platinum American Express card. The Qantas Frequent Flyer program, on the other hand, was launch in 1987 and has nine million members globally.

Miranda said that she like working in Australia and enjoyed being home for quite a long time. While in the Land Down Under, Miranda is working on her business KORA Organics and spending time with her family.

"I had my grandparents down and I had time with my cousin who and her little boy who's the same age as my son," the model said.

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr's son Flynn could be following her mother's career as a model. According to Miranda, Flynn has been using the airplane aisle as a catwalk.

Technically, Flynn already appeared on the runway with his mum. Kerr once shared that her favorite catwalk job was when she modeled for Balenciaga's autumn/winter 2011-12 show while she was pregnant with Flynn.
