Australian supermodel and Victoria's Secret pin up girl Miranda Kerr turns 29 today.

The beautiful model began her career at a young age of 13 right after she won the model search competition hosted by Dolly magazine and Impulse fragrances in 1997. Miranda struggled in her career as she was criticized for her young age when she started.

Miranda Kerr pushed her career by appearing in a series of beachwear ads most from Australian surfer brand Billabong. This made her known in the Australian and Asian markets. Miranda moved to New York and walked in various runways and fashion shows such as for Alex Perry, Baby Phat and Roberto Cavalli.

Miranda Kerr also graced various covers of magazine in different such as Elle, Vogue and Harper Bazaar. She also became the face of various brands such as Victoria's Secret, David Jones and Maybeline New York.

Miranda Kerr also ventured in being an entrepreneur and put up her own business. She is the owner of cosmetics line Kora Organics. Miranda also wrote an inspirational book, Treasure Yourself, which is like a memoir with her thoughts and reflections on what has happened in her life.

Miranda Kerr became the ambassador of Australian airlines Qantas and Earth Hour for 2011 and 2012. With all of these achievements, Forbes listed Miranda Kerr as one of the world's top earning models.

Miranda is now happily married to Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom and a proud mother of Flynn. She still continues her career as a model and expanding her business.
