Miranda Kerr Confirms Victoria’s Secret Split, Denies Being Dropped by Clients [PHOTOS]
Miranda Kerr Asserts She is Entering a New Pace in Her Life that She had to Cut Ties with High-Profile Clients
Australian international model, Miranda Kerr has confirmed in an exclusive interview with Sydney Morning Herald that she had cut ties with Victoria’s Secret as an angel, denying earlier claims that she was dropped and asserted that it was her choice to break away from the three-year contract.
The 29-year-old stunning Aussie model has underscored that as she is about to enter the Big 3-0 with her birthday around the corner, Miranda pointed out that she is also entering a new phase in her life.
''This is a natural evolution,'' Miranda said in an exclusive interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, adding “''The thing is, I've been modelling since I was 13.
She underscored, ''I'm now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realised I needed to prioritise my time.”
Admitting that she can hardly spread herself too thin with too many commitments that she is afraid she would not be able to give her all.
''I'm just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time,'' Miranda said in the interview ''It's three months at a bare minimum.''
Developing more opportunities is Miranda’s focus these days.
''It's really important I give 100 per cent to my clients and I have to be careful to make strategic long-term decisions with my personal and business interests. I've reached a point in my career where I'm developing my own opportunities that are really reflective of my passions.''
She belied earlier reports that she was being dropped by her high-profile clients, particular retail giants David Jones and the top-of-the-line brands for Victoria’s Secret.
She simply said: ''I'm sure anyone that has worked with me would agree that it's not true.''
Miranda has obviously moved on from the top retail giant as she recently showcases new looks for Qantas. New names of hot models have come out to possibly replace her as Victoria’s Secret Angels.
