Miranda Kerr Flies to Australia to Help Promote Struggling Retailer, David Jones
Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr put down Baby Flynn for a night and helped retailer David Jones spike up its high-end clothing lines as she announces the store’s new collections.
The 28-year old Ambassador for the store stops by DJ’s flagship retailer store at Elizabeth Street Shop in Sydney and browsed its stocks before announcing that a number of international labels are anticipated to fill the store.
“The first thing I did when I arrived is I came into the store and I was really happy and excited to see the new collections here,” Kerr said who arrived at the store showing off her amazing post-baby body in a lace dress by Lover and strappy Christian Louboutin heels as she went through the new collections.
The additional merchandise include the designs from Lover, Cark Kapp, Hugo Boss Women, Victoria Beckham and the Kardashian Kollection.
The Sydney Morning Herald also said that the store are also carrying other celebrity brands such as Dries Van Noten, Lanvin, and Lucy in Disguise by Lily Allen.
Other local labels including Bassike and Flannel are also expected to be introduced at the formal department store launch of its spring/summer collections at the Royal Hall of Industries Wednesday night.
"All about colour and some white. It's very clean and fresh," Kerr said when asked what to expect from the catwalk next week.
Kerr, as the face of the high-end clothing store is hoped to help revitalize the struggling retailer by promoting its new lines and its new slogan, ''Was. Is. Always. David Jones''.
The new sets of clothes are coming in from August 1, note the Sydney Morning Herald.
