Miranda Kerr, Diane Von Furstenburg Guest Stars in ‘Project Runway: All Star’ [PHOTOS]
Renowned fashion legend Diane Von Furstenburg and Aussie supermodel and Victoria's Secret Miranda Kerr appeared as guest stars in America's reality TV show for aspiring fashion designers "Project Runway: All Stars."
This week, the designers are tasked to create a piece for the world-renowned supermodel inspired by the colors and flavors of gelato. Miranda Kerr and Diane Von Furstenburg were on the judging panel.
Michael C chose grapefruit, while Mondo picked canteloupe. Mila chose milk & sour cherries, April went with blueberry, Kenley has passionfruit, Austin got vanilla madagascar, Anthony has green tea and Kara was left with chocolate with cayenne pepper.
The designers will have to create the dress within the time limit of six hours, which set the shortest deadline in "Project Runway" history. Despite the pressure and limited time to complete the piece, everyone managed to create stellar pieces.
Michael C proved that he deserved to win with his grapefruit gown. Diane Von Furstenburg praised how the dress perfectly flow to his model. Despite working with a difficult color, the designer managed to pull it off.
Miranda Kerr will wear the winning piece in a big event. Diane Von Furstenburg even asked Michael to give her a call after the show.
This season of "Project Runway" is noted to be the most exciting season of all as thirteen designers returned for redemption and for another shot at fame. Many of fan favorites and the best designers that joined the past seasons are called back to give it another try.
However, there are several famous faces who are not, most notably Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Tim Gunn.
The new season of "Project Runway" is back with new judges and a new host, the returning competitors have a chance to impress a new set of faces including Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman, as well as mentor Joanna Coles.
The new faces all extremely talented heavyweights within the industry; although they are not that famous to the viewers.
