Miranda Kerr Dismisses Reports Claiming Orlando Bloom Is Dating Laura Paine

Miranda Kerr is confident that ex-husband Orlando Bloom still hasn’t found her replacement. The Australian supermodel claims that “The Lord of the Rings” star is just friends with British model Laura Paine after the pair were seen holding hands.

Bloom was spotted arm in arm with Paine over the weekend in London. They were out with friends in what seemed to be a double date.

With the two looking cosy together, reports quickly surfaced that they are now dating.

But Kerr, Bloom’s wife of three years, has been certain that there was nothing romantic going on between Bloom and Paine.

“They’re just friends. They’ve been friends for years,” the 31-year-old former Victoria’s Secret Angel told MailOnline.

And Kerr knows the truth because the former lovers “spoke about it.”

She added, “We speak everyday. It’s fine.”

Kerr and Bloom share custody of three-year-old son Flynn.

As for her own love life, Kerr said she’s still single. Although she is currently being linked to Aussie billionaire James Packer, Kerr insisted that the reports are not true.

“People try to put me together with people I’ve been friends with for years,” she said. “As long as I know the truth and people close to me know the truth, that’s all that matters. At the end of the day, I can’t be phased by other people’s opinions, and people are entitled to their opinion.”

Bloom is also being linked to several personalities, the latest being Paine. Also just recently, he was reported to be dating 21-year-old Selena Gomez.

Meanwhile, Packer and his childhood friend, Nine Network boss David Gyngell, were photographed wrestling each other outside Packer’s home in Bondi Beach earlier in May.

According to reports, Packer spotted a Nine Network satellite TV news van parked outside his flat, believing it to be there to catch him with Kerr. Gyngell has apparently been disapproving of Packer’s decision to leave his wife Erica and their three children.

The men have issued a joint statement, saying that they are still friends and they wouldn’t comment on the incident further.
