Australian supermodel, Miranda Kerr, shared that she learned how to cook healthy and tasty meals from her mother.

The model is very proud of her mother, who recently released a cookbook packed with healthy and organic recipes. Miranda Kerr also shared in her blog that she was blessed to have a mother who "always cooked homemade, healthy, nutritious, yet really tasty meals."

"She specialises in incorporating healthy vegetables and salads into just about every meal and what would always make these meals even more special is that she would fill them with love - the key ingredient.," Miranda boasted.

Miranda thanked her mother as she taughter her "how to make low GI, healthy alternative recipes that help keep me full and support my body, and she showed me how to incorporate healthy herbs and spices into my cooking, herbs and spices like Tumeric, Basil, Oregano, fresh Garlic, Cardamon, Parsley, Saffron, Coriander and Thyme plus many others."

Miranda Kerr left home when she was just 18 and has to take care of herself in order to pursue her career in modeling. It was a good thing that she learned a lot from her mother's cooking. However, she is still thankful that her mother likes to cook for the family whenever she comes for a visit in the Land Down Under.

Miranda's mom, Therese, has just released a new cookbook that contains great healthy recipes as well as tips on the ingredients that you should use to provide nutritious food. The book also shared easy and healthy lunch recipes for busy people who are working.
