Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr becomes a ray of hope for New Yorkers amidst their struggle to recover from the disaster brought by superstorm Sandy.

Miranda Kerr is on the front page of New York Post. The headline read: "God hates us!... but we have an angel" wherein Miranda is shown in her skimpy green, starry suit she wore at the famous Victoria's Secret fashion show in New York on Wednesday night.

The photos is captioned, "Miranda Kerr is a breath of fresh air amid the weather nightmare".

Kerr retweeted the paper's coverage of the recent superstorm.

Right after Sandy hit New York, Kerr posted a photo of the Post's issue "Home of the Brave", which featured New Yorkers flying the American flag in the aftermath of Sandy, and accompanied it with the message: "My heart and prayers go out to all those affected by #hurricanesandy love Miranda xxx."

In the famous fashion show, Miranda wore three outfits in what is considered the world' sexiest fashion parade - the green one, a white and black lace bra and underpants teamed with huge white feather wings, and a cute hot pink lace bra and panties set.

Miranda Kerr was joined by other Victoria's Secret angels and dozens of stunning models who bravely showed off acres of flesh in the cabaret-style fashion show. As usual, new mom Adriana Lima kicked off the show while Alessandra Ambrosio is given the honor to wear this year's fantasy bra.

The fashion parade will air as a one-hour special on December 4 on the US network CBS. Victoria's Secret and CBS have both donated to relief efforts for superstorm Sandy.
