Miranda Kerr, No Longer a Victoria’s Secret Angel, Stars in a Japanese Detergent Commercial
Miranda Kerr is the very first Australian to represent Victoria's Secret. However, after giving birth to his son with English actor Orlando Bloom, Kerr decided to take a break from her contract with the company that delivers the world's most glamourous lingerie collection.
She confirmed that she's no longer Victoria's Secret angel in April. "I am just not in the position to commit to a full contract at this time so it is going to be a three-month contract at a bare minimum," Kerr said.
Still, a lot of people were hoping that she would still walk the runway for the 2013 Victoria's Secret fashion show, but the company has just announced the 2013 angels and Kerr did not make it on the list. British model Cara Delevingne is also out. The models who will headline the show on Dec 10 are Karlie Kloss, Candice Swanepoel, Lindsay Elingson, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Behati Prinsloo and Lily Aldridge.
Kerr has ways to keep herself busy despite the fact that she will no longer be modeling for Victoria's Secret. She has launched her own brand of organic skincare merchandise, Kora Organics, and she even released her own book titled Treasure Yourself.
Kerr also just recently starred in a Japanese commercial, promoting a laundry detergent. She looked extremely bubbly, fresh and gorgeous in the said commercial. She even spoke in Japanese. Here's the video.

The video was shot in Los Angeles, according to Fashion Headline but it will never be aired in the U.S.
This is not the first time that Kerr starred in a Japanese commercial. In 2012, she was featured as the model for Lipton's Ice Tea commercial and she also sang in Japanese. She must've done so well to get her on the face of another product commercial.
