Miranda Kerr to Pursue Acting Career in Hollywood, Will the Aussie Supermodel Give Up Modeling?
Supermodel Miranda Kerr is now going to try her luck in acting.
"I am talking to several acting agents," Kerr was overheard saying during an event for Stuart Weitzman and Gilt in New York City. She has Orlando Bloom for her husband, so he will surely open a lot of doors and opportunities for her.
"Many people would like to meet Miranda because she is Orlando Bloom's wife," said Hollywood publicist Michael Levine. "Kerr is already so famous, so it will not be hard for her to land a small part in a summer flick," Levine told MailOnline.
Furthermore, Kerr shares the same manager, Aileen Keshishian of Brillstein Entertainment, as her husband Orlando Bloom, Nina Dobrev of the Vampire Diaries, Natalie Portman, and none other than, Gwyneth Paltrow. Her manager can surely give Kerr some small roles, here and there, for starters.
Kerr has also made several appearances on television shows such as Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America, and Fox and Friends.
Kerr would not be the first supermodel to try a hand at acting. Some of the supermodels turned actress include Famke Janssen, Jaime King, Molly Sims, Elle MacPherson, Rebecca Romjin, Elizabeth Hurley, Shalom Harlow, Claudia Schiffer, Milla Jovovich, Gisele Bundchen, Cindy Crawford, and so much more. Some of these supermodels have even landed major film roles. Who knows? Kerr might just get herself great movie offers too.
"The U.S. fans love Miranda so much," said celebrity photographer Russell Williams. "She has the most amazing girl-next-door look, and she is just insanely pretty," added Williams. "People want to be around her because she is so much fun to shoot," Williams said.
If Kerr is to star in movie, Orlando would be the very first person to cheer for her, or maybe Orlando would even be her first leading man. The million dollar question is, is Kerr good in acting like she is in modeling?
