Miranda Kerr is trying her hand at singing. The Australian supermodel is set to release her debut single, but denies she will be pursuing a career as a singer.

In December, it was rumoured that she would be recording a song with “Jersey Boys” star Bobby Fox for his upcoming album.

On Sunday, she confirmed that she has recorded a track with Fox.

“I usually just sing in the shower but @thedancingfox convinced me to record a duet with him,” she tweeted, adding that it’s not a career change, but it was “just a bit of fun!”

The Australian-based Fox also confirmed the news. He flew to New Zealand, where Kerr was working on a shoot, to record with her in a studio in one night. He posted their photo on his Instagram account.

“I convinced @mirandakerr to record a little song with me for my album. She then convinced me to take this little photo with her. It’s out late March. #youretheboss #thefantasticmrfox #convinced,” he captioned the photo.

His spokesperson added, “Miranda was amazing to work with. She didn’t take herself too seriously – she just got into character and had a ball recording it.”

According to the Daily Mail, Kerr and Fox recorded a version of Elvis Presley and Ann Margaret’s “You’re The Boss” from the classic “Viva Las Vegas.”

Kerr’s singing debut will not be followed with another one. A source told the UK paper that the “She has no plans to embark on a singing career, she loves music and just thought this would be fun.”

“You’re The Boss” will be released on March 14 on iTunes.

This isn’t the first time that Kerr has sang outside her bathroom, though. In 2012, she starred in a Japanese ad for Lipton iced tea, in which she is seen singing a jingle in Japanese while showing off her long legs in a yellow mini dress.
