Miranda Kerr has opened up about her romantic proposal from Evan Spiegel. The former Victoria Secret’s angel and Snapchat founder announced their engagement last month after dating for a year.
On Sunday, the 33-year-old model snapped a selfie with her giant diamond engagement ring and the words “Sunday fun day!” She then later shared the snap to Instagram.
In an interview with WHO Magazine, the model revealed that she was caught off guard by Evan.
“It was such a romantic surprise,” she said. “Evan is such a tradition guy, he was so sweet and so thoughtful and he got down on his knee. I was dying.”
Miranda, who is currently the face of the latest BONDS Australia swimwear campaign , also revealed that she and her fiancé are in the initial stages of wedding planning.
“We’ve thought about it. But after he proposed we went on holiday and we’ve just gotten back,” she said. “So we haven’t got into any specifics yet. But we are very excited! I am really happy.”
The model also opened up about co-parenting his five-year-old son Flynn with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.
“We will be family and we’ve both got Flynn as our number one priority. We have the same manager so we work out a schedule,” she explained.
“When Orlando has to work, then Flynn is with me, and when I have to work, he’s with his dad. So he’s always with one of us and it’s worked out really well. He’s such a good boy and I’m such a proud mummy. He’s a kind boy and he’s very thoughtful and he shares.”
In an interview in the "Kyle and Jackie O Show" earlier this week, the model reacted to Orlando’s infamous nude paddle boarding pictures with girlfriend Katy Perry.
