Australian model, Miranda Kerr is on first name basis with the top style icons in the fashion industry. But the 30-year old former Victoria’s Secret model reveals having her grandma as her style icon.

In an interview with Clique Magazine, Orlando Bloom’s wife said that she has looked up to her 77-year old grandmother, Ann in terms of style and her granny, she noted has been a great influence to her fashion style, especially when choosing her wardrobe.

‘My grandma has great style and really influenced me,” Kerr began, according to news.com.au as she discussed how she would consult her grandma when making fashion-related decisions.

She continued, “The one thing that stayed with me was that fashion doesn’t need to be expensive or complicated – just worn with grace and confidence.”

The news outlet noted that Kerr’s glamorous grandma had given her some reminders on how wearing make-up and choosing the right underwear can “make a man happy.”

Amid reports of her split from husband of three years, the former David Jones Ambassador emphasized the importance of family to her, especially her son, Flynn.

“My son is the best thing that ever happened to me. My favourite times are when we sit and laugh. Flynn has the most infectious laugh,' the former VS model added, noted news.com.au.

Still citing a report by Mail Online, news.com.au added that Kerr also told Clique magazine how she had “re-evaluated her priorities” to ensure that Flynn comes on top of everything.

Miranda said, “Since becoming a mother, I’ve re-evaluated my priorities and scheduled my work more efficiently to ensure my son is now my priority. When I get home after work or have a day off, I make a concerted effort to switch off and be present in the moment with him.’

Miranda was last seen with son Flynn and estranged husband, Bloom shortly after the couple announced split in October 2013. It is said that they are still trying to save their marriage and the couple has reportedly signed up for a three-day “marriage-saving” retreat in Hollywood Hills, in New York City.

After her split from Bloom was made public last month, the Aussie model was seen dining with Leonardo DiCaprio. She was recently reported being dumped as face for Mango and was replaced by Canadian model, Daria Werbowy.

Mango is the latest company to have cut ties with the Aussie model. After leaving Victoria’s Secret, Kerr was also replaced as David Jones Ambassador.

It looks like Miranda Kerr has more time in her hands to spend time with Flynn.
