Miss Colombia to appear in 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage;’ Miss Universe goes out on a 'friendly’ date

After the highly controversial coronation night late last year, Miss Universe 2015 and Miss Colombia seem to be moving along with their lives.

Despite being heartbroken over her loss, things are looking bright for first-runner up Ariadna Gutierrez. Miss Colombia 2015, through her latest Instagram post, confirmed reports that she will make her movie debut as Vin Diesel’s love interest in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage." The Latina beauty shared her elation in social media, uploading a photo of their recent shoot in Dominican Republic.

Meanwhile, amid her busy schedule, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has managed to squeeze in what she calls a “friendly date” with Dr Mikhail Varshavski, most popularly known as People’s Magazine Sexiest Doctor Alive.

On her Twitter account, Wurtzbach shared a selfie photo of herself with Dr Mike, tagged as the “real-life McDreamy,” after their supposedly gym date. She captioned the image, “Zombies after boxing.” The reigning beauty queen also tagged Dr Mike in her post, which reached more than 1,600 retweets and more than 8,000 likes.

Prior to Wurtzbach’s post, Dr Mike posted another photo of them in his Instagram account. He wrote, “She says she wanted to be a doctor until she realised she’s deathly afraid of the sight of blood, so she decided to win #MissUniverse instead.”

Earlier this year, the 26-year-old doctor in New Jersey auctioned himself for a cause, wherein one lucky winner would win a trip to New York City, a stay in a 4-star hotel and a dinner date at a Michelin-starred restaurant. The auction, which ended on Jan. 27, raised over US$90,000 (AU$123,240), which went to his charity called The Limitless Tomorrow Foundation. Varshavski is a second-year family medicine resident at Overlook Medical Center. Late last year, he has reached over one million followers in his Instagram account.
