Miss Earth 2013: A Final Look Before the Coronation
Miss Earth 2013 Coronation Night is set to kick off at 8PM tonight, December 7 at Versailles Palace, Alabang, Muntilupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Reigning Miss Earth 2012 Tereza Fajksova from Czech Republic is going to crown her successor and continue her legacy as an ambassador for the Miss Earth Organization.
For the past 3 weeks, the 89 delegates from all parts of the world have battled it out in the hopes of making an impression earning them a spot in the top ten by the final night. The contestants have been divided into three groups. During the final rehearsals, the most congenial beauty queen in the group had already been revealed.
Miss Indonesia Nita Sofiana of Group 1 was hailed the friendliest with the most number of votes while Group 2 elected Miss Lebanon Rita Houkayem as their most amicable. On the other hand, Group 3's warmest candidate is Miss Gabon Mayombo Koundi. These ladies exemplify the ideals of being a true warrior worthy of being crowned Miss Earth.
Tonight, the world will welcome a new Earth warrior. Before finding the right candidate perfectly fit for the job and throne, the judges will have to narrow it down to 16 first cut qualifiers. From 16, the choices will again be narrowed down to 8 and then to 4 elemental beauties. Finally, only 1 Miss Earth 2013 will be crowned.
