Miss Earth Brazil

Organized by Look Top Beauty Productions, Miss Terra Brazil is the official preliminary pageant of the international Miss Earth beauty contest. Founded in 2001, Miss Terra Brazil was originally called 'Beleza Brazil' and was organized by Beauty Productions Brazil Ltda. from 2001 - 2007.

From Beleza Brazil to Terra Brazil, the pageant changed its name in 2008, and is currently headed by national director Jose Alonso Dias from Minas Garais. Simone Regis is Brazil's first representative in the first edition of Miss Earth in 2001 and she won the Miss Air crown on October 28, 2001.

In 2003, another Brazilian duplicated the feat of Regis when Priscilla Poleselo Zandoná won the Miss Air crown in the Miss Earth 2003. But the country's big victory came when Priscilla Meirelles won the Miss Earth 2004 title and Larissa Ramos was hailed as Miss Earth 2009.

So far Brazil leads the ranking of most titles since the country joined the prestigious event in 2001.
